Director Biography - Lewis Cranston

Glasgow-based filmmaker with a particular interest in the theme of landscape, particularly the Scottish landscape and its significance to Scottish identify. Also interested and influenced by modernist cinema and German Romanticism. A recent graduate of Screen Academy Scotland's BA Film Programme.

Director Statement

In my eyes, despite it's farmland setting, this is a film about the conflict in filmmaking. It is about the plight of uncertain, creative and spiritual people in the face of certain, greedy and ignorant people.
