Hello! I'm a film and music video director based in NYC. Originally I was an oil painter and performance artist at first Pratt MWP and then the Cooper Union School of Art. I've directed dozens of music videos, a bunch of short films, and a 45 minute TV pilot.

As an asian domestic transracial adoptee out of foster care (age 2), one of my goals in the film industry is to help dispel myths and misconceptions about adoptees by centering #AdopteeVoices.

The Orphan Trope has been super popular in storytelling since antiquity. But we adoptees are SO much more than a trope! We are a globally connected community of people with shared experiences across cultures and races. Our lives may be unique, but we are not alone. Adoptee is as much of an identity as "woman" or "Asian" but unlike other identities, the adoptee characters are not treated with the same respect or nuance. Let's change that!
