Last Frame Queer Fest 2023!

This year's festival will celebrate queer art from around the world. We're looking for films that showcase LBTQ womxn and non binary characters and creators. As always, we are particularly interested in receiving submissions from those within the queer community who continue to be misrepresented and underrepresented.

The festival will take place in July 2023 in London (UK), and September/October in Málaga (Spain).

Rules & Terms

Please check our submission rules before submitting - your film will not be considered unless it meets the criteria below

Your submission must be:

- Under the running time specified in each category.
- Made after 2020.
- English or Spanish or (English or Spanish subtitled).
- Must have a queer theme or character at the centre of the story.
- Captions will be needed.
- You must own the rights to the film and any other art/music/images that appear in it.

    I'm so humbled my short film Purgatory was included in this amazing, unique, diverse Queer Womxn festival. Every short included in the fest showcased an original perspective from queer womxn filmmakers. Tickets and submission fees were both free! There were accommodations made for viewers who have hearing impairments. Just really well done, thoughtful, powerful. Other festivals could learn a lot from Last Frame!

    Last Frame Queer Womxn Fest was such an amazing and diverse festival. Communication was amazing at all times and I had the best time networking with the other Queer Womxn Filmmakers on my panel.
