The inception of the Las Vegas Music Video Awards was driven by a mission to champion the artistic merits of music videos and to honor the outstanding achievements of musicians. Committed to acknowledging the creative feats of musicians, industry experts, filmmakers, and devoted fans who've left an indelible mark on the world of film and music videos.

Nominations remain open until the stroke of midnight on December 31st. The much-anticipated revelation of finalists is slated for January 8, 2024, with the ultimate victors being decided through a fusion of input from industry luminaries and the passionate votes of music enthusiasts.

A lavish celebration awaits on March 16, 2024, at the esteemed Art Houz Theater, featuring a glitzy red carpet affair, a delightful cocktail hour, and an electrifying awards ceremony.

Rules & Terms

Submitting your film does not guarantee festival acceptance or screening. Acceptance into does not guarantee an award or prize. Submission fees are nonrefundable.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for the 2023 competition, entries must have been first produced, released, exhibited, screened, aired or shown online between January 2020 to June 30, 2023.

CATEGORIES

Select the category that most closely relates to your submission's type of genre. There is an entry fee for each category you enter. Individual entries are evaluated for their intrinsic merits – without comparing them with others. Each entry is, in effect, in competition with itself, and is measured by our international award-winning jury of experts using an industry-accepted standard of excellence.

A musician may enter multiple achievements in a category if the achievements are for different programs.

The award committee reserves the right to increase the number of nominees in any category.

The award committee reserves the right to not have ANY nominees in a category if the work submitted does not reach our level of excellence.

AWARD ANNOUNCEMENTS & PROMOTION

Finalists will be announced on January 8th and the winners will be announced at an awards ceremony held in Las Vegas at the Art Houz Theater March 16, 2024. A laureate will be sent to winning contacts following the awards presentation.

Tickets are available for purchase on FilmFreeway. Each nominated project will receive TWO (2) complimentary tickets to attend the show regardless of the number of nominations or number of individuals in the submitted project. Additional tickets may be purchased on FilmFreeway.

CREDITS

When submitting your credits, be aware that if your entry is a winner the name of the category, and title of the entry will appear on the award which is given to each winning entry. We also include the year of the competition. Finalists, when notified, will be given the opportunity to update and correct credits. However, if no corrections are made, credits listed during the entry process will be considered the credits of record.

    I had a wonderful experience at the Las Vegas Music Video Awards. Jowanna and Team are incredible and the venue was a really nice theatre. they had a step and repeat and did a great job. The award was pretty, the presentations were seamless and the host was awesome too! I would definitely go again and cant wait!

    The event was a great success and is a beautiful memory now. Jowanna Levis the host and creator of the Las Vegas Music Video Awards gave our work a meaning, a stage and a great value. She created this event out of her own love to music videos. That made this event a very warm and save environment for art and the artists. The artists that participated were diverse and their work inspiring. We are more than happy that we visited this event in Las Vegas.
