The Las Vegas Black Film Festival is an Award Winning State Proclaimed Festival that ignites the independent film market and gives emerging filmmakers from around the world a platform to display their talents.

Taking place in Fabulous Las Vegas known as the Entertainment Capital of the World.... the event is set to host more than 2000 eager moviegoers, filmmakers and entertainment professionals seeking rising stars. NOBODY DOES IT LIKE LAS VEGAS!

Those who have been honored at the festival include Antonio Fargas, affectionately known as "Huggy Bear" from the hit 70's television show Starsky and Hutch, Academy Award Winner, Acting Legend, Louis Gossett Jr., Irma P. Hall, Loretta Devine and John Amos (best known for his role as Dad from Good Times)
... Joining attending celebrities have included (the late) Actor Tommy Ford from the Hit Sitcom Martin, Omar Gooding, LEON Robinson, William Johnson, Sherry Gordy ... and many more.

Winners of the Las Vegas Black Film Festival will be adorned with much more than just honors and applause. All awarded filmmakers will automatically qualify for a distribution deal, Cash Prizes & Awards.

If you are a Producer with a Film that is Written, Produced, Directed by or Features an African American in the Lead Role, we welcome you to submit, compete and celebrate with us.

    WOW! That is the word that comes to mind. The wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This is MUST attend event, especially if you want your film seen on the BIG SCREEN! The LVBFF was nothing less than was OUTSTANDING! I was so honored to have my film, Rising Above The Fray selected.

    The various films, the people, the FOOD...the
    Acting Showdown.....I will cut it off here and not give too much away. See for yourself and show up in 2025!

    Most importantly, Ms. Michelle is the gift that keeps on giving especially to budding filmmakers like myself. She is not only the founder, but deemed the Queen of this wonderful film festival. Kudos Ms. Michelle!

    This is a must attend festival!

    No matter how you arrive, you will leave feeling like part of the family. You can't ask for a better venue, the quality of the films was top notch, and you'll definitely want to network with the other talented individuals while you are there.

    And Ms. Michelle is an absolute treasure. Her warmth, talent, elegance, and passion can be seen in every part of the festival.
