I enjoyed the excitement of being nominated for this film festival! We were nominated for FOUR categories, and although we didn't take any awards home, we were glad to have been chosen! Thanks for the love and support.

  • Celebrating its 10th year anniversary, The Las Vegas Black Film Festival 2023 truly showcased a level of quality that simply is unsurpassed. Such an incredible team who make you feel like family, and so much attention to ensuring that every attendee has an unforgettable experience. It was such a pleasure to be a part of this festival for my second year, and an honor to have been awarded Outstanding Fan Film for Triggered, a Cinematic Superhero Fan Film. On behalf of all of our cast and crew, thank you and we can't wait to be back for more!

  • This event has been getting a lot of buzz lately, and it's not hard to see why. It's a super cool festival that gives filmmakers of color a chance to show off their stuff and connect with a wider audience. In this review, I'll be talking about what makes this festival so great, using five keywords: quality, value, communication, hospitality, and networking.

First up is quality. The films at the Las Vegas Black Film Festival are seriously top-notch. The festival organizers have great taste and choose movies that are not only entertaining but also thought-provoking. The films often tackle important social issues that are relevant to the black community, which makes the festival a place for meaningful conversations.

Next, let's talk about value. This festival is a fantastic deal for both filmmakers and movie-goers. Filmmakers get to showcase their work to a wider audience and meet other industry people. And for the audience, the festival offers a chance to see films that they might not be able to find elsewhere. Plus, there are workshops and panels that can teach you something new about the industry.

Now, let's discuss communication. The Las Vegas Black Film Festival is great when it comes to communication. Their website is easy to navigate and has all the info you need. If you have any questions, the organizers are quick to respond and super helpful.

Let's move on to hospitality. The festival is known for being super welcoming. From the moment you arrive, you'll feel right at home. The volunteers are always happy to help, and there are lots of social events where you can chill out and meet new people.

Last but not least, is networking. The Las Vegas Black Film Festival is an awesome opportunity to connect with other industry professionals. You can meet other filmmakers, exchange ideas, and maybe even start working on a project together. Plus, there are lots of people from the industry there, so it's a great place to show off your work and make connections.

Overall, the Las Vegas Black Film Festival is an amazing event that's definitely worth checking out. The high-quality films, great value, excellent communication, warm hospitality, and awesome networking opportunities make it a must-attend for anyone who loves movies and wants to see more diverse voices in the industry.
