The Las Vegas Black Film Festival is an Award Winning State Proclaimed Festival that ignites the independent film market and gives emerging filmmakers from around the world a platform to display their talents.

Taking place in Fabulous Las Vegas known as the Entertainment Capital of the World.... the event is set to host more than 2000 eager moviegoers, filmmakers and entertainment professionals seeking rising stars. NOBODY DOES IT LIKE LAS VEGAS!

Those who have been honored at the festival include Antonio Fargas, affectionately known as "Huggy Bear" from the hit 70's television show Starsky and Hutch, Academy Award Winner, Acting Legend, Louis Gossett Jr., Irma P. Hall, Loretta Devine and John Amos (best known for his role as Dad from Good Times)
... Joining attending celebrities have included (the late) Actor Tommy Ford from the Hit Sitcom Martin, Omar Gooding, LEON Robinson, William Johnson, Sherry Gordy ... and many more.

Winners of the Las Vegas Black Film Festival will be adorned with much more than just honors and applause. All awarded filmmakers will automatically qualify for a distribution deal, Cash Prizes & Awards.

If you are a Producer with a Film that is Written, Produced, Directed by or Features an African American in the Lead Role, we welcome you to submit, compete and celebrate with us.

    The Las Vegas Black Film Festival was a superb presentation of aspiring film producers, directors and artists' projects. I'm honored to have had two of my music videos screen during this year's festival; one of which won for Best Music Video. This is the upper echelon of film festivals. Do add them to your list of festivals to 'not miss' submitting to. What an experience! Ms. Michelle and her staff really know how to throw a gala and produce a show. It's a different kind of thing when the people behind it 'understand' what you do on 'another level'.
    I loved everything about this festival.

    From the moment I stepped on the scene of this wonderful film festival, the love was REAL, the energy was HIGH, and the respect for Black filmmakers was felt in the air!

    Let me say this loud: Ms. Michelle and her team are doing God’s work for the culture. The level of care, organization, and intentionality? Top tier. You can tell this festival was built with PURPOSE—not just to showcase films, but to truly SEE us, support us, and celebrate our stories the RIGHT way.

    As a first time, independent filmmaker, that matters.
