Lapinlahti Film Festival is a celebration of shared cinematic experiences. Films at the festival do not compete with each other but revolve around an annually changing theme. The theme for 2024 is "Film for Well-being". The feature films selected for the festival are divided into three themes: Relationship with Nature, Ego, and Growing Pains.

The spotlight of the festival is on building community, fostering trust, broadening perspectives, and creating discussions around challenging mental well-being themes.

    Nice friendly festival in very special and atmospheric historic location and with outdoor screenings that are quite rare in Finland. Festival has important mental wellbeing related theme and It's on walking distance from Helsinki city center. Easy to recommend.
