Little Flix is now accepting submissions for our inaugural festival in London! We’re looking for bold, creative, and compelling films and scripts that capture the essence of storytelling in under 7 minutes.

We're looking for projects which say something about the human condition, and projects which are impactful.

LITTLE FLIX LONDON INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL - OUR RULES AND REGULATIONS
General Requirements:
Eligibility:
Submissions must be either:
Scripts: 1-7 mins or 1 - 7 pages, or
Films: No longer than 7 minutes (including credits).
Titles may have premiered after January 1, 2023, for eligibility.
Films publicly exhibited via any medium (theatrical, VOD, web, or broadcast) prior to this date are ineligible (please check with us if you are unsure).
All submissions must be in English or have English subtitles.

Submission Platform:
Submissions must be made exclusively via FilmFreeway for scripts and films. For details on entering the other events and activities, please visit our website.
We do not accept direct emails, messages related to submissions, or other submissions.
Entry Details:
Required Information:
Submissions must include:
Filmmaker’s full name, email, and mailing address (full address, including country and area code/post code). Social media handles.
Complete production credits.
Language(s) of the film.
Films must be submitted in the English language or have English language.
Run time.
Completion date.
Films must be in the following formats: MP4 or MOV’s, and filmmakers must be able to transform their films to DCP if they are selected (please get in touch with us if this is an issue for you).

Incomplete Applications:
Submissions with missing or incomplete information will not be considered. Submission fees are non-refundable, including when a film is disqualified for not meeting eligibility requirements, incomplete materials, incorrect category submissions, or other entrant errors.
Deadlines and Fees:
5. Deadlines:
All deadlines are final, and we will not enter into discussions or disputes about missed deadlines.
All fees are non-refundable.
Late fees apply after the early deadline.

6. Multiple Submissions:
You may enter more than one submission. Each title requires a separate entry form, preview copy, and entry fee. You cannot change your submission once we have received it.
Inclusion Survey:

7. Disclaimer: Ticket purchase for pitching does not ensure participation. All entries are subject to review, and final selections will be made based on merit and capacity. Ticket purchase will ensure entry to the sessions. You should submit your pitch deck, no longer than 10 pages, and five pages of the script if you have it.

Additional Rules:
8. Rough Cuts/Works-in-Progress: accepted, but should be as close to the final version as possible.
Updated versions will only be considered if requested by the programming team.
9. Notifications:
All entrants will be informed of the festival’s decisions by April 2026
For consideration, please ensure your submission complies with all outlined requirements.
Exploitation and Distribution Rights
10. Rights Granted Upon Submission:
By submitting your film to the festival:
You grant the festival the non-exclusive right to exploit your film for a period of five years.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Screening the film at festival events.
Using the film for promotional purposes.
Exhibiting the film on festival-affiliated platforms, including online streaming services, social media channels, and other digital or physical venues.
Distributing the film, using any part of the film to create trailers, and stills.
Submissions must be sent as a DCP - email info@littleflixlondonfilmfestival.com and write format in the header for any queries relating to format.

11. Third-Party Distribution:
If the festival enters into a distribution agreement with a third party for your film, the festival retains the right to negotiate exclusive deals on your behalf.
Any financial recompense or royalties resulting from such deals will be negotiated by the festival, with terms communicated to the filmmaker.
The festival reserves the right to determine the terms of such agreements, ensuring alignment with its operational and promotional goals.
12. Limitations:
The exploitation and distribution rights granted are specific to the festival’s operations, including its own platforms and approved partnerships.
Ownership of the film and all associated copyrights remain with the filmmaker or rights holder.
By submitting your work, you acknowledge and agree to these terms as a condition of participation.

We reserve the right to make changes to the festival schedule and film selections. We will not enter into any disputes over submissions.

13. Code of conduct

Pitching Session Guidelines

Welcome to our pitching session! This is an opportunity for you to present your long-form project to our esteemed industry guests. Please adhere to the following guidelines to ensure a respectful and productive environment:

Participation Agreement.
By entering this session, you agree to refrain from harassing our industry panel.
Please do not submit any materials to the panellists without their explicit consent or an invitation to do so.
By participating, you agree not to enter into any disputes or claims against parties involved in the production and execution of this festival.

Preparation Tips
Clearly define your project’s concept and objectives.
Be concise and engaging in your presentation.
Prepare to answer questions and receive constructive feedback.
