Launched in 2013, the LakeCity International Film Festival (LCIFF) held in Delhi / NCR was founded to showcase the emerging talents and the leaders in contemporary film making, and aims to exhibit the most captivating and innovative content. Serving as a Premier Film Festival, the two day LCIFF 2020 festival is slated to happen in November 2022.

Festival Mission:
Breaking all stereotypes, LCIFF's mission is to present quality films from around the world as well as support, recognize and honor indie film makers. These films will be organized thematically, in hopes of representing the full range of the human experience as reflected by our chosen filmmakers. LCIFF will also be a vital showcase for indie short film makers as the festival has a PSA Films Category in addition to its competitive sections revolving around a theme and have a strong social message.

Rules & Terms

PLEASE NOTE:
THE FESTIVAL WILL NOT ORGANISE AND OR REIMBURSE ANY TRAVEL / ACCOMMODATION FOR FILM MAKERS AND OR THEIR ARTISTS TO ATTEND THE FESTIVAL.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR SUBMISSION & PARTICIPATION:
The festival will not interact with anyone except the submitter and/ or the producer of the film. If any person - be it the actor, writer, director or any from the production crew tries to forcibly extract information about the status of the film from the festival authorities, the festival will have absolute rights to DISQUALIFY THE FILM from competition and/ or screening which you may kindly note. At the same time, the festival may take the decision to ban the production house completely from sending entries to the next editions of the festival.

The entry form / application will be considered only on receipt of Administrative film submission entry fee as mentioned above.

All entries must be sent to the LCIFF prepaid and insured for your own protection. Entry form, DVD, Synopsis, Posters, Publicity stills and other material should reach Festival office on or before the Final Closing Deadline - November 28, 2021.

3. COMPETITION FEATURE FILMS: (Open to all Directors across the Globe)
Films entered in the FEATURE FILM Section should be more than 70 mins and made / released between 1st April 2015 and 15th June 2021

4. COMPETITION SHORT FILMS/ DOCUMENTARY / ANIMATION FILMS
Films entered in the Competition Section must have a running length of not more than 45 mins.

5. GENERAL
5.1 Films not presenting sufficient technical qualities for good public screening can be refused by the Festival Director.
5.2 Subtitling is necessary and compulsory for films that are not in English language or in Hindi (Indian Language). Films without subtitles shall not be screened in the Festival.
5.3 The participants must ensure that they have the right to participate in the Lake City International Film Festival with regard to parties connected with the production / distribution of the participating film and / or other right holders/licenses.
5.4 Participation in the Festival implies acceptance of these and all Regulations as specified.
5.5 The Festival Director will decide all matters not expressly provided for in these regulations but in conformity with the provisions of the International Regulations for film festivals and its decisions shall be final and binding on all parties.
5.6 Entrants should inform the Festival Director by November 20th, 2021 about their participation, including the titles of films and the names and addresses of the directors, producers, production companies and world sales companies against each film titles.

NOTE: Festival Director, Programmer, Selection Panel and Jury shall determine selections and / or Award Winners at their sole discretion. LCIFF authorities at any time would not entertain any request pertaining to selection films and / or awards. Decision of the LCIFF festival authorities regarding all matters not expressly provided for in these rules and regulations or which require interpretation of the clauses mentioned above shall be final and binding to all parties.

The Festival is being organized under the aegis of Lake City International Film Festival by Eon Films, Qrius Films, Plus Publications and FilmCafe and with support from Indian Film Industry and film makers from around the world.

    You opted to get your trophy delivered by Post instead of Fedex to save your money. By the time the postage was sent, your country went into war. Meantime you did ask your money to be refunded via PayPal which was done promptly. Whereas we did incur the cost of sending you the trophy. Even we have the records to prove we are on track. Do check out how much time does a normal post takes to reach your country from India and then post your mind here. We do understand the war has taken a toll on everyone, Anyways, have a good day.

    On behalf of CESO ENTERPRISES, INC., Alyssa Dann, Chris Oledude, and all of our production participants, I would like to compliment the organizers and operators of LakeCity International Film Festival. When we created our first music video (which was long enough to be a short film), we knew nothing about film festivals. With the help of FilmFreeway, we started researching. The categories were good. Everyone who contacted us on behalf of this festival was helpful. The submissions looked excellent.

    It was indeed exciting to discover this new world and to be so warmly welcomed by the inhabitants! To have GEORGE FLOYD: SAY THEIR NAMES selected for inclusion was an honor in and of itself.

    We were happy to “get the word out” and continue motivating people worldwide to consider the injustices embedded within our nation’s criminal justice system. After all, situations where a powerful segment of the population uses its law enforcement apparatus to abuse and oppress other segments of the population are recognizable in and common too many societies.
    We recommend submitting your work and we certainly intend to participate again in the future.
