1._ ADVERTENCIA, los participantes internacionales podrán acceder a la selección oficial, pero no a la competencia.
2._Sólo podrán participar en la competencia oficial films ecuatorianos o cooproducciones con Ecuador. Los participantes internacionales sólo podrán enviar cortometrajes de ficción y animación en sus respectivas categorías.
3._ La temática de los trabajos participantes es libre.
4._ Todas las obras de habla no hispana, deberán llevar subtítulos en español.
5._ El participante deberá inscribirse vía FilmFreeway.
6._ Se considerarán cortometrajes, a los films con una duración menor a 25min y largometrajes mayores a 60min.
8._Deberán inscribirse todas las obras ecuatorianas realizadas desde el año 2024 hasta Junio del 2026.
9._ Sólo podrán inscribirse cortometrajes internacionales realizados desde 2024 hasta Febrero del 2026.
11._ Los participantes recibirán menciones y los ganadores la Estatuilla Kunturñawi.
12._ En la categoría universitario se considera todas las obras que hayan sido parte de la formación académica y de grado de los estudiantes.
13.- El festival ser reserva los derechos de admisión sin veres obligado a brindar algún feedback o rembolso.
15.-Los seleccionados le ceden al festival pequeños fragmentos de sus obras con propósitos netamente promocionales del festival.
16.- Los archivos de video no pueden pesar más de 5gbs
17.- Solo se aceptarán condecs mp4 o H264 con resoluciones máximas de 2k
18.-Solo se aceptarán trabajos con sonido stereo.
19.-Los ganadores internacionales recibirán su mención en formato virtual.
20.- Los ganadores están invitados a la Gala de Premiación que tendrá será en el emblemático Teatro León de Riobamba el sábado 21 de noviembre a las 19h00.

Only Ecuadorian films or co-productions with Ecuador may participate in the Official Competition. International participants may only submit fiction and animated short films in their respective categories.
The theme of the submitted works is open.
All non-Spanish-language works must include Spanish subtitles.
Participants must register via FilmFreeway.
Films with a duration of less than 25 minutes will be considered short films, while films longer than 60 minutes will be considered feature films.
All Ecuadorian works produced from 2024 through June 2026 must be submitted.
Only international short films produced from 2024 through February 2026 may be submitted.
Participants will receive mentions, and the winners will receive the Kunturñawi Statuette.
The university category includes all works created as part of the students’ academic training or degree programs.
The festival reserves the right of admission without being obliged to provide feedback or refunds.
Selected participants grant the festival the right to use small excerpts of their works strictly for the festival’s promotional purposes.
Video files may not exceed 5 GB in size.
Only MP4 or H.264 codecs with a maximum resolution of 2K will be accepted.
Only works with stereo sound will be accepted.
International winners will receive their mention in virtual format.
Winners are invited to the Awards Gala, which will take place at the iconic León Theater in Riobamba on Saturday, November 21 at 7:00 PM.
