“Stories are a way for us not to feel so alone in the world.” - Kosi OG
Kosiba Oshodi-Glover is a director, producer, and cinematographer crafting raw yet cinematic, emotionally grounded stories that center human connection and cultural identity.
Born a twin and raised between the influences of her Bostonian mother and traditional Nigerian father, Kosi’s work is deeply informed by a rich, dual-cultural upbringing that continues to shape her voice as a storyteller.
Her creative journey expanded during her time in Jacksonville, Florida, where formative experiences around love, family, and community reshaped her perspective and now serve as emotional anchors in her work.
In 2021, Kosi made her directorial debut with Merry Litmas: An AZ Christmas Movie, a community-driven short film produced in Phoenix, Arizona. The project marked the beginning of her commitment to collaborative, culture-forward filmmaking.
Her work has been recognized by the Phoenix Indie Film Festival and the Open Call Film Festival, and she earned 2nd Place Audience Choice in the 48 Hour Film Project. She has also served as a documentarian for the Big Culture & Art Film Festival in Gainesville, Florida.
Kosi continues to focus on narrative filmmaking, creating stories that feel intimate, honest, and visually compelling-building community through film while inspiring audiences to feel seen, understood, and less alone.
