Koolifilm Festival invites you to submit your films for its 2024 edition, a festival for youth ages 14 to 18!

Koolifilm Festival is a film festival in Tallinn, Estonia, focused on providing young filmmakers a space to showcase their work and give them opportunities to meet and learn from professionals in the film world. The festival is organised and managed by a team of young creatives, so the festival truly is for the youth, by the youth!

We are accepting live action, documentary and animation short films no longer than 15 minutes, that have been completed in 2022 / 2023 / 2024, from filmmakers of ages 14-18. Films selected into the festival will be able to compete in several competitions, and directors and team members of the films will be able to participate in masterclasses and workshops led by real professionals in the field of filmmaking. Participation is open to youth all over Europe!

🌟THE FESTIVAL🌟

Koolifilm Festival 2024, organised by Kinomaja Filmikool and Kino Artis will take place in Tallinn October 11th & 12th.

🌟TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION🌟

Only films completed after January 1 2022 and no more than 15 minutes in length and made by youth ages 14-18 (grades 8-12) will be considered for selection by the jury.

Films may be of any genre, and filmed and/or animated in any technique. Only completed films will be considered for selection.

🌟SUBMISSION🌟

Submission is free of charge.

Film submissions will be accepted until August 1st 2024. Film submissions will not be admitted after this date.

If the submitter does not provide a screener link (a YouTube, vimeo, or google drive link to view the film) then the submission will be disqualified.

Upon positive selection, the festival will contact the submitter and request a final cinema screening file.

Selection results will be sent individually to the submitters through their provided email on the 16th of August.

🌟GUEST INVITATIONS🌟

If a submitted film is selected into the program then the director(s) will be provided a full festival accreditation (festival pass) and access to master classes and events for free.

OSALEMISE TINGIMUSED

Žürii valib valikusse ainult need filmid, mis on valminud pärast 1. jaanuari 2022 ja mille pikkus ei ületa 15 minutit.

Filmid võivad olla mis tahes žanrist ning filmitud ja/või animeeritud mis tahes tehnikas. Valimisel võetakse arvesse ainult valminud filme.

🌟ESITAMINE🌟

Esitamine on tasuta.

Filme võetakse vastu kuni 1. augustini 2024. Pärast seda kuupäeva filme ei võeta vastu.

Kui esitaja ei esita filmi vaatamiseks linti (YouTube'i, vimeo või Google Drive'i linki), siis materjal diskvalifitseeritakse.

Positiivse valiku korral võtab festival esitajaga ühendust ja nõuab lõplikku kinolinastuse faili.

Valiku tulemused saadetakse esitajatele individuaalselt 16. augustil nende e-posti teel.
