I had a great time at this festival.

I wish we could've done it at the theatre, but the set up they did as a drive-in was a great idea and a really good screening. A lot of shorts were high quality and every impressive. The energy and atmosphere was awesome and I can only imagine how good it would've been pre-covid.

The KW film festival is a MUST submit event for indy filmmakers. Its a festival of filmmakers for filmmakers. Regardless of your budget or scale of your production, your film will get an honest crack at being selected. The great time our team had at KW inspired us to get right back in the saddle and start working on our next project.

Entire process for KW filmmakers - submission to screening - was amazing. Accommodated with great communication from the festival director Daniel McLeod.
Will definitely submit my latest film for next season!

  • This was my first in-person film festival and it was really great! It was so cool getting to see "Distant" on a big screen and it was a really fun event! Hope to submit here again sometime!
