Kinda Spoopy

Kinda Spoopy is a killer little festival that takes place just north of Nashville, TN. We love to function as a perfect gateway to the Halloween season.

While it's true that we are a music festival at heart, we tend to celebrate all things October, and with that spirit, we began the Kinda Spoopy Film Fest. Who doesn't love a scary movie in a haunted forest?

This year we will once again add a handful of horror short films to our catalogue of awesome attractions at the fest. We will also be doing a late-summer screening of winning films at a theater/venue somewhere in Kentucky. Two events for the price of one!

This is not a typical film fest...There will be 8-15 selected short films. These films will be screened at the festival and receive laurels that declare them an award winner. We will also give honorary mention laurels to films that were close to making the cut.

Every year we have a theme for the festival, and this year five (V!), we have declared this years festival Vampires Versus Voodoo! Submissions that are vampire or voodoo related will definitely be given brownie points in the judging process, but all horror/thriller/sci-fi/creepy stuff is welcome. Comedic plays on those genres are accepted as well.
