Kinda Spoopy

Kinda Spoopy is a killer little festival that takes place just north of Nashville, TN. We love to function as a perfect gateway to the Halloween season.

We are a music festival at heart, but we celebrate all things October, and with that spirit, we have begun to bring film into the fold of what makes our fest so great.

This year we are looking to add a handful of horror short films, and a horror feature to our catalogue of awesome attractions for Kinda Spoopy. The feature will be shown on Thursday once bands are done playing at night, and the shorts will be shown on Saturday evening during an hourlong break in the music.

We will also show all of the films in Bowling Green, Kentucky at the Capitol Theater at a date in the summer.

This is not a typical film fest...There will be 5-6 selected short films, and one selected feature. These films will be screened at the festival and receive laurels that declare them an award winner. We will give honorary mention laurels to films that were close to making the cut.

We ask that all films are related to our theme this year, which is alien/outer space/otherworldly creatures. The submissions can be horror/thriller/sci-fi, or can be a comedy if they fit the other requested genres.
