Kimolos International Film Festival is one of the most popular festivals in Greece. At KIFF every screening is sold out!
The 7th edition will be held in June 2025 at the beautiful island of Kimolos, inviting the audience to discover visionary filmmakers.
KIFF showcases feature films, documentaries & shorts in every genre (Environmental films, Human Rights films, Children's films, Food films, Animation etc.) It also screens Greek films.
The festival has screened films from first-time directors who continue their successful career (Manuel de Coco, Alexis Bruchon) and from acclaimed directors (Adilkhan Yerzhanov, Armando Bo etc).
Many of the official guests that attend KIFF are representatives from prestigious film festivals (Cannes, Cairo, Tallinn Black Nights, Avanca etc.)

Rules & Terms

Golden Tree competition: We accept Greek Premieres (feature films & documentaries) which were completed in 2024 & 2025.
Discovery Greek Cinema competition: We accept feature films, shorts & documentaries which were completed in 2024 & 2025.
Εnvironmental films: We accept (feature films & documentaries) which were completed in 2024 & 2025.
Food films: We accept (feature films & documentaries).
Film Trailers: We accept trailers with the purpose to promote the films.
Aria Screenings: We accept feature films that have been selected in major film festivals or movies that were a commercial success.
