Kids Movie Fest is a competition of films made by the children of our planet.
We are the only Ukrainian film festival that has a special nomination for young directors with hearing problems.
Short films (from 1 to 15 minutes) participate in the competition. Films of different genres: feature films, documentaries, music videos, commercials, poems, animation videos.
The festival welcomes films produced by both a group of children and individual independent young directors.
We do not accept films made by adult professional directors.
During the festival, a complex of film production workshops will be created in the cinema. Each participant or guest of the festival will be able to try all stages of film production.
For children and adults, 8 workshops will be presented: script, art, make-up, wardrobe, acting, camera, dubbing, editing and directing. In each workshop, during the two days of the event, children's Ukrainian and international film schools, studios, theaters will present themselves, which help the young generation to try themselves as a director, actor, cameraman and other film professions.
In parallel with the activities in the cinema, there will be a demonstration of the best films of 2021 of all age categories that have passed the qualifying round.
At the same time,, a lecture room will work, where useful lectures for parents and adolescents will be held.
AWARDS AND PRIZES
1. Festival statuettes and diplomas will be awarded to the winners of all 25 nominations.
2. Prizes and gifts from guests, partners of the festival and the jury.
3. The main prizes of the national competition are certificates for further training in cinematography in the best film schools in Ukraine.
4. Film technology for further creative video works.
5. The main prize in the category "Films from children with hearing impairments" - shooting equipment from Megogo.
6. All winners will have access to live streams of their films on the Megogo International Platform.
