Kevin Murphy is a comedian, writer, and actor from Boston Massachusetts. After doing several Independent films in Boston, he moved to New York to pursue his dream of acting and comedy. He performed standup for several years and headlined in some of the top clubs in New York. He produced his own successful alternative comedy show "The Kevin Murphy Show" which put on some of the best acts of today. He then traveled overseas to Japan to put on the best selling English speaking comedy show in Tokyo. After the 2011 earthquake and tsunami, he performed for many charity shows under the Titan company banner one of the highest-rated comedy companies in Japan, which was met with great regale. He moved back to Boston and continued to host and headline shows throughout the area. Now residing in Los Angeles, Kevin continues to pursue comedy and entertainment, as well as produce his own comedy show. Kevin recently created, wrote, and starred in the comedic web series "The Stand" and wrote the comedic short "The Hoodie".
