The Stand

Meet Gary Lousier, failed actor, comedian, and bartender, a kind soul forced home from his "high life" as an infomercial actor back to his hometown of Fresno, CA to take care of his ailing mother. Gary, unable to procure employment in his hometown is forced to open his own "Lemonade Stand" to make ends meet. "The Stand" is innocent yet dubious in what "exactly" is it Gary is serving to his loyal patrons. Gary reconnects with old friends and new ones in an environment that has changed since his childhood. He deals with an old High School bully now Officer Jankowski and sparks an old flame with his lost love Sheila. Join Gary as he serves the drinks and receives the news of what happens when you attempt to go back home again in your mid 30's.

Director Biography - Jaszmin Kuhner

Jaszmin Kuhner is a Purdue Graduate with a degree in media broadcast. She moved to Los Angeles in 2016 to pursue her career in Film and Television. She is experienced as a director, actress, talent manager, videographer and more. She has worked on television shows for CBS, NBC, VH1, Nickelodeon, MTV and more. She was apart of the Emmy winning seasons for RuPaul’s Drag Race and Judge Mathis and also a daytime Emmy nominee for Nickelodeon’s Double Dare. Jaszmin loves creating and inspiring others through film and media. She also is the director of the comedy series “The Stand” and “Adulting”.
