Taking his 30+ years in the corporate world, Kevin Romano - Huhn (at the age of 57 years old) decided to go back to school to study Film Production. As a seasoned leader with a proven business acumen he added the creative skillset of screenwriting, directing & editing which helped him co-found MARKD Productions (MARKDProductions.com) with classmates.
His productions include award winning short documentaries - Teen Across Canada (Directed by Robert Smith); The DNA of LOVE (Directed by Kevin Romano - Huhn) and short films - Hope for Christmas (Directed by Alexandre Belke), The Package (Directed by Alexandre Belke), I Love You Most (Directed by Ayla Johnston & Karianne Taklo); Athletic Withdrawal (Directed by Matt Dionne).
The latest production UNTHINKABLE Appetite is set for festival submissions in 2025.
Kevin's story inspires those he meets. In 2004, with nothing more than a vision, Kevin produced his own TV & radio show, airing it on NHL Network, FOX Sports, Sirius/XM and TSN Radio. In 2012, he won a civic recognition award from the city of Markham, Ontario. In 2021, he went back to school and found his true calling after a tragic loss of his son.
His passion to entertain, empower and educate is fueled by his life long mission to put smiles on the faces of those he meets. He aims to leave a lasting legacy honoring his son Kurt Huhn with the message - 1 person can make a difference... just be your best everyday.
