An Nyong Ha Se Yo? WELCOME TO THE FILM KINGDOM OF ASIA.
Korea International Short Film Festival is a newly founded initiative-based festival project based in Seoul that was originally created with the intention of providing a space for emerging filmmakers. The project focuses on low-budget short films that explore new experiences and narrate unique stories created under limited resources.
We are interested in how filmmakers around the world work within practical constraints, how young creators respond creatively to production challenges, and how such attempts may reflect diverse approaches to independent filmmaking.
We strive to play a small role in the emergence of a new generation in independent filmmaking by acknowledging the creative efforts of filmmakers, actors, cinematographers, editors, and producers, and by presenting their work within the framework of this initiative.
We invite you to join us as we continue this journey, and to engage with the project in a spirit of openness and exchange.
Award-related listings and information may be published on the project’s website and social media pages as part of its periodic public presentation.
During different submission cycles, the project may highlight selected works and performances as part of its ongoing recognition activities.
