Attention NORTHSTATE CALIFORNIA filmmakers of all ages. In conjunction with the upcoming PBS series, The Age of Nature airing October 14, 21 and 28, KIXE PBS is hosting an Online Film Festival. Whether it’s a revealing documentary, a tense drama or a slapstick comedy, film makers are asked to submit films that answer one of these questions in any style they wish:
1. What have our past mistakes taught us about nature
2. How is our understanding of nature changing the way we live?
3. As the challenges we face mount, where are we heading next?
Submission notables:
• All work must be original 3 MINUTES OR LESS - submitted via Filmfreeway.com by October 23, • Eligible films must be all-age appropriate.
• Film Makers will be judged in two separate age groups
o Middle School and younger
o High School and Older

*By submitting a film, you are allowing KIXE PBS to use your submissions on their media platforms. KIXE PBS will not remit payment for any films submitted. Entries must agree to the rules and requirements of the festival.
Juried winners will be chosen on film making merit. Most popular film in each age group to be chosen by Facebook likes. Best Winning entries will participate in our online film festival on October 29 at 6 PM. The Best of KIXE PBS Online Film Festival will be aired November 5 at 7:30 PM on KIXE PBS.
