KaPow Intergalactic Film Festival experienced an amazing collective of filmmakers/screenwriters/podcasters, sharing unique projects during our fourth orbit in 2019, so we just had to come back for more magic on Feb 19 - 28, 2021! KaPow IFF bridges the most creative, and soon to be discovered, imaginations of the Multi-verses. But this “Intergalactic” festival isn’t just for science fiction. Intergalactic is the scale on which we showcase your craftwork! We value the KaPow IFF Community and the satisfying vibes we co-create together, where your Futureself connects with their current collaborators. Stay tuned to this page as it updates with participating sponsors, awards, vendors, and more!

KaPow IFF is usually held at Laemmle NoHo 7 in North Hollywood, California. Due to COVID restrictions and theater shutdowns, we are partnering with Filmocracy.com to provide an online viewing experience for creators and audiences! • Communication was excellent. Team was excellent. Curt’s interviews with filmmakers was top notch as he knew about my film going into the interview. Real care is honoured in the curation of this film festival. One of the best hands down.

I was delighted that my project ‘Even The Rats’ was officially selected to participate in the 2021 ‘KAPOW Intergalactic Film Festival’. Kapow were an early supporter of my work, inviting my first project to participate back in 2018. As one of the newer festivals, I think they are one of the best with regards to communication, marketing, interviewing and networking. Their sense of fun and love of cult / genre film is genuine, and I found them to be very professional and impressive when it came to the hosting of my film on their website, online streaming and networking events too. As a bonus, I was delighted that my project won ‘Best Abstract’ too! My experience was great; I found the festival team to be extremely helpful and supportive in answering questions and helping making arrangements for participation. Due to COVID-19, the festival was virtual, and I applaud the festival for creating what I thought was a brilliant event under the circumstances. Really going out of their way to provide a great virtual streaming event as well as great zoom-based networking and workshops. I applaud any festival that works this hard to try and maintain the spirit of collaboration and networking, especially when having to do it all remotely. I am delighted to have had the opportunity to participate in the festival and I look forward to the opportunity to participate again and would love to attend in person someday!
