Monthly Awards and Prizes!

Welcome to Just Shorts Corfu, an event dedicated purely to short films. Nestled in the heart of Ionian islands’ cultural capital, Just Shorts Corfu is dedicated to showcasing the very best in short filmmaking from across the world. Our festival aims to celebrate the creativity, diversity, and innovation of short films and their creators.

Just Shorts Corfu operates as a monthly film festival competition, providing filmmakers with a platform to submit their works and gain recognition. Each month, filmmakers can submit their short films, and from these submissions, one standout film is selected as the winner. This winning film will be screened at a prestigious cinema venue at the end of the season. In addition, ten semi-finalists are chosen each month to compete in an online jury for the remaining 12 spaces for screenings. All winning films each month will be screened at the local and traditional Πολύτεχνο Κέρκυρας in the heart of Corfu scheduled for 25-27 September 2025.

The Just Shorts Corfu is organised by HFP, a pioneer organisation that runs Film Festivals and other events showcasing and championing ideas of diversity. Through our global series of film Festivals that spread over 13 countries, we open the path to voices with a compelling story to share. Our main mission is to honour independent cinema and establish a network of artists eager to join forces and spread their work across all nations.

The Grand Winner of the year will be selected by the audience. The winner will be awarded the prestigious sponsor award provided by JustShorts' main sponsor, including a cash prize. Additionally, the top 5 finalists will be offered a streaming deal, a trophy, a certificate, and an array of other exciting goodies. Our ultimate aim is for Just Shorts Corfu to serve as a vital stepping stone for independent filmmakers, propelling their careers to new heights and providing them with the recognition and opportunities they deserve.
