A little nugget of my Irish Culture and heritage, I am a descendant of Brendan and Dominic Behan, Poets, Playwrites and screenwriters. Also Peadar Kearney, an Artistic genius who wrote the Irish national anthem. I have a deep proud affection for my Irish Artistic roots.

He subjects the very prose itself to the traumatised, upside-down world of his story. Second, his gift for dialogue which reflects, often comedically, the vigorous, healthy young man he once was. In his conversations with his girlfriend and his mate, we get a profound and clever insight into who this character was before he became ill. Third, the searing honesty and integrity of the script which enables us to feel what it's like to lose your health so dramatically at such a young age conveying, as it does, the overwhelming frustration of stumbling into a shadow of your former, glorious self. In addition, I believe using the museum sequences as a way into and through the trauma is inspired. I wish him well with this film which will be applauded by anyone who’s ever lost their health suddenly and unfairly, while appealing to a wider audience who’ll easily empathise with its story.”
