I’m a writer and director based in Glasgow, Scotland, with a knack for using bold imagery to tell stories that dig into the dark, using humour to light they way. Full beams when appropriate.

My latest comedy short ‘Behold, This Dreamer Cometh’, follows a young man at church camp who dreams of his deceased dad, and is “surprisingly funny”. Prior to that, I made the short documentary No A Basher, following an ageing Glaswegian mountaineer who can no longer climb the hills he loves, as well as the comedy drama short The Organist, about the impact of a replacement organist at a funeral. I have also worked on numerous music videos and commercial works for clients such as Bottle Rockets, Glasgow Film Festival, and BBC Scotland.

Building on over 10 years of career experience in visual arts and design, I work well in both my solo practice and in collaboration, and thrive when working with others who share that same approach.
