Jaime is a documentary director and producer. He has been working on humanitarian and natural disaster documentaries for almost a decade. Jaime is currently the head of production at the Tzu Chi Media USA and oversees projects from concept to delivery for more than 120 projects a year.

He is also the founder and producer of the New York-based production company, A FILMS, with whom he directed and produced commercials like “TAG-morphosis” which won the TAG-Heuer Jury Award for Best Commercial, and music videos for bands such as Husbandry (USA), Jean-Paul (Spain), and Nung Nung (Taiwan).

Jaime was also the creative assistant to the director for the Ecuadorian hybrid film “A Son of Man,” which became the Ecuadorian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 91st Academy Awards and had six nominations for the Platino Awards of Ibero-American Cinema. He is currently finalizing “Los Sandy’s,” a poetic documentary short film about the sacrifice and creative resilience of a family of Mexican immigrants in the US.

He founded the New York-based production company, A FILMS, in 2012. Among the projects he directed and produced are music videos for Husbandry (US), Jean-Paul (Spain), and Nung Nung (Taiwan) as well as documentaries such as "Los Sandy's", "joseantonio" (for the singer Jose Antonio Garcia of 091), and in the non-profit space, short documentaries for the NGOs Tzu Chi Foundation, the Legal Resources Center of South Africa, and Africa.com. Moreover, he was the 1st AD in the feature films "Ombligo" (Spain), “Indiana” (US) and “Stealing Chanel” (US) and numerous short films and commercials in the US.

As a TV actor, he co-starred in “Arrayan” (Linze TV, Canal Sur), TV show awarded with Ondas Award in 2005, as well as “El Comisario” and “Yo soy Bea” (Tele5). In the silver screen, Jaime performed in “12+1 a metaphysical comedy” by Chiqui Carabante, awarded in Malaga Film Festival 2010, in addition to numerous short films. On stage some of the highlights are “Four Legged Melancholy,” “El Sindrome del Congo,” “El Silenci del Mar,” “La Vetlla Funebre” or “Ullsenblanc.”
