I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, and an only child living with a single mother since when I was six. I was a standard girl who love drawing and dogs. Ever since I watched the Japanese film "Confessions(Japanese title 'Kokuhaku' Tetsuya Nakashima, 2010)" when I was high school student, I've been into Japanese films. The directors I admire are Sion Sono, Tetsuya Nakashima, especially love 'Love Exposure'(Sion Sono, 2009)
When I was a college student, I started watching some Western films, but I've still watched Japanese films mainly. In the West, I respect Xavier Dolan, Yorgos Lanthimos, Jean-Luc Godard so far. Especially I am a fan Xavier Dolan's films and watched almost all of them. I'd like to create such a great film one day like him that is beautiful and has a meaningful story in our lives. I need to watch more Western movies.
