The Itaewon Film Festival (ITF) is a community-driven festival that celebrates stories of belonging, identity, and diversity. Set in Itaewon, one of Seoul’s most vibrant and multicultural neighborhoods, ITF showcases films from around the world and welcomes all voices through screenings, conversations, and cultural exchange. The 2025 festival theme is “You’re Home.”

ITF is excited to welcome the jury:

Yun-su Chong (정윤수) – Acclaimed Korean film director known for Midnight Cafe: Missing Honey (2021), Love, In Between (2010), My Wife Got Married (2008), Love Now (2007), and Yesterday (2002).

Wonnie Shen – International film and television producer, recognized for his work on Severance (Apple TV, 2022), Hocus Pocus 2 (Disney+, 2022). Former Creative Producer at Beijing Enlight Pictures (CCTV).

Submission Requirements
- Films in any language other than English must include English subtitles at the time of submission. Dialogue lists or separate subtitle files will not be accepted.
- Short films and student works must have a total runtime of under 40 minutes.
- Feature films must have a runtime of 40 minutes or longer.
- All films will be screened digitally. The required exhibition format is a 1080p .mp4 file encoded in H.264.
- Filmmakers are solely responsible for securing all necessary rights, licenses, and clearances for public screening of all content in their submitted work (including music, images, and archival footage).

Legal Agreement
By submitting your film to the Itaewon Film Festival (ITF), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
- You confirm that you hold all necessary rights to the submitted film, including the right to publicly screen it at ITF.
- You accept full legal responsibility for any copyright or intellectual property claims related to your submission.
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Itaewon Film Festival, its organizers, partners, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, or damages arising out of or in connection with the screening of your film at ITF.
- Submission fees are non-refundable, and submitting a film does not guarantee selection.
