We welcome film makers from Vancouver Island BC, Canada to participate in our inaugural Short Doc film festival. The theme of this year's film festival is simply COMEDY. Make the viewer laugh, and experience an uplifting feeling from viewing your film. After the events of the past three years, it's time to smile. We are proud to host this inaugural film festival at the McMillan Arts Centre, which started life as McMillan School in 1913. This beautiful heritage building located on McMillan Street, Parksville, BC is now host to galleries, gift shop, Studio and wonderful arts and cultural events.

Hosted at the McMillan Arts Centre's new digital media gallery in beautiful Parksville, British Columbia, Canada, your film will be screened from October 13th - October 30th, as part of the BC Culture Days celebrations. We will also screen your film through our website and on social media. Great exposure for film makers on Vancouver Island, BC Canada.

Film makers must be from Vancouver Island, BC Canada. Captions must be in ENGLISH if required. We reserve the right to decline submissions that contain inappropriate language, themes or images. ALL FILMS MUST BE 1 MINUTE OR LESS.
