Rules & Terms


IIFF Rules and Regulations

By submitting your film to the Isabela International Film Festival (IIFF), you agree to and acknowledge the following terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in automatic disqualification:

1. Subtitles:
All films must include subtitles. Submissions without subtitles will not be accepted.

2. Submission Fees:
Submission fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

3. Short Film Length:
Short films must not exceed 17 minutes. Films over this time limit will be disqualified.

4. Previous Screenings:
Films that have been screened at other festivals are eligible for submission.

5. Public Availability:
Films that are publicly available online or otherwise will not be accepted.

6. Distribution:
Films with distribution may be screened but are not eligible for competition awards.

7. Category Placement:
IIFF reserves the right to assign selected films to any category it deems appropriate.

8. Disqualification Rights:
IIFF reserves the right to disqualify or withdraw a film at any time before its scheduled screening.

9. Selection Process:
Submission does not guarantee selection. All films will be considered, but not all will be screened.

10. Screening Schedule:
IIFF retains the right to schedule screenings of selected films at any time or venue during the festival.

11. Intellectual Property:
By submitting, the filmmaker warrants that they are the rightful owner of the film and that it does not violate any trademarks, copyrights, or intellectual property rights. The filmmaker will indemnify and hold IIFF harmless from all claims, losses, or damages arising from the submission.

12. Non-Discrimination:
IIFF does not discriminate based on nationality, language, age, race, ideology, economic resources, or any other factor.

13. Media Coverage:
IIFF is a public event open to media coverage. Participants may be photographed, filmed, or recorded, and their likeness may appear in media publications or broadcasts. IIFF is not liable for any media coverage or third-party actions.

14. Promotional Use:
IIFF reserves the right to use small portions of selected films for promotional purposes, including advertising the festival.

By submitting your film, you confirm your acceptance of these rules and agree to abide by the festival's terms. Non-compliance will result in disqualification without further notice.
Normas y reglamentos del IIFF

Al enviar su película al Festival Internacional de Cine de Isabela (IIFF), usted acepta y reconoce los siguientes términos y condiciones. El incumplimiento de estos requisitos dará lugar a la descalificación automática:

1. Subtítulos:
Todas las películas deben incluir subtítulos. No se aceptarán las películas sin subtítulos.

2. Tarifas de inscripción:
Las tarifas de inscripción no son reembolsables bajo ninguna circunstancia.

3. Duración del cortometraje:
Los cortometrajes no deben superar los 17 minutos. Las películas que superen este límite de tiempo serán descalificadas.

4. Proyecciones anteriores:
Las películas que se hayan proyectado en otros festivales son elegibles para la presentación.

5. Disponibilidad pública:
No se aceptarán películas que estén disponibles públicamente en línea o de otro modo.

6. Distribución:
Las películas con distribución pueden proyectarse, pero no son elegibles para los premios de la competencia.

7. Categoría:
El IIFF se reserva el derecho de asignar las películas seleccionadas a cualquier categoría que considere apropiada.

8. Derechos de descalificación:
El IIFF se reserva el derecho de descalificar o retirar una película en cualquier momento antes de su proyección programada.

9. Proceso de selección:
La presentación no garantiza la selección. Se considerarán todas las películas, pero no todas se proyectarán.

10. Calendario de proyecciones:
El IIFF se reserva el derecho de programar proyecciones de las películas seleccionadas en cualquier momento o lugar durante el festival.

11. Propiedad intelectual:
Al presentar la película, el cineasta garantiza que es el propietario legítimo de la película y que esta no viola ninguna marca registrada, derechos de autor o derechos de propiedad intelectual. El cineasta indemnizará y eximirá al IIFF de toda reclamación, pérdida o daño que surja de la presentación.

12. No discriminación:
El IIFF no discrimina por motivos de nacionalidad, idioma, edad, raza, ideología, recursos económicos o cualquier otro factor.

13. Cobertura mediática:
El IIFF es un evento público abierto a la cobertura mediática. Los participantes pueden ser fotografiados, filmados o grabados, y su imagen puede aparecer en publicaciones o transmisiones mediáticas. El IIFF no es responsable de ninguna cobertura mediática o acciones de terceros.

14. Uso de promoción :
El IIFF se reserva el derecho de utilizar pequeñas porciones de películas seleccionadas con fines promocionales, incluida la publicidad del festival.

Al enviar su película, confirma que acepta estas reglas y se compromete a cumplir con los términos del festival. El incumplimiento dará lugar a la descalificación sin previo aviso.
