Isabela International Film Festival welcomes you!

Our mission is to promote culture and the arts in Puerto Rico through the medium of film.

We will have indoor and outdoor events.

The film festival aims to attract Puerto Rican filmmakers as well as filmmakers from all over the world!

All events will be conducted in both English and Spanish.

IIFF reserves the right to include selected films in any category deemed appropriate.

Feel free to let us know any extra details while on the submission process, such as but not limited to: if it's a premiere status at out festival, the backstory/ fun facts of your project, etc.

All submissions must indicate if they are student level submissions (university/ college). As well as indicate if it was National (Made in PR) or International (U.S.A & other countries).

Our festival offers one of a kind experiences and opportunities for both filmmakers and everyone that attends.
There will be networking opportunities, which are indispensable for our local industry, in each one of our special venues.
Our special award "Caballo de Oro de Paso Fino" was designed by our beloved Puerto Rican artist Antonio Martorell.
All film submissions will be judged on the following but not limited to acting, editing, sound, cinematography & direction.

By submitting your film you agree and acknowledge the following:

All films must have subtitles. . Only films with subtitles will be accepted.

Once a submission has been made, and the submission fee has been paid, there are no refunds.

Short Films must be under 20 minutes in length. Films over this time limit will be disqualified.

All films may have been previously screened at other festivals.

Films available publicly online or otherwise are not eligible to enter.

Films with distribution may be screened but will not be eligible for competition.

IIFF reserves the right to include selected films in any category deemed appropriate.

IFFF reserves the right to eliminate the film at any point before the screening day.

Not all films submitted will be selected for screenings, however, all will be considered.

IIFF reserves the right to program selected film screenings at any time/venue they see fit during the festival.

By submitting, the Film Director (Submitter) warrants that he or she is the rightful owner of the submission and does not violate or infringe on any trademark, trade name, copyright, literary, dramatic, musical, artistic, or other intellectual property or personal rights.

The submitter will indemnify and hold harmless the IIFF, its directors, judges, sponsors, partners, and affiliates individually and collectively, from and against all claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, liabilities, and expenses including legal expenses arising out of or in connection with all claims, including third party claims, based on films/videos submitted to the festival.

No filmmaker will be the object of discrimination based on their country of origin, language, age, race, education, ideology, or by their economic resources. All participants acknowledge that the IIFF is a public event that is open to the media. As such, all participants are subject to media coverage and scrutiny and may have their likenesses published in print, electronically, or via digital broadcast. IIFF is not, now nor will not be in the future, responsible nor liable for such media coverage or actions of the press or other publicity agents during any events or functions associated with the festival.

IIFF reserves the right to use small portions of accepted films for publicity and promotion of the festival event.
