Irish Film Berlin 2024 - Terms & Conditions
CONDITIONS FOR ENTRY
All films must have been completed since October 1st 2021.
IFB's objective is to present films stemming from Ireland and the wider Irish Diaspora, but will also accept submissions from non-Irish filmmakers whose films are about Ireland, include Irish talent or Irish people.
Films should be password protected. Films should be presented in their original versions with English language subtitles or commentary where necessary.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Frame Rate : 24 & 25 FPS
Bit Rate: 5,000 - 20,000kbps
Resolution of 1920X1080 px.
USING EXTRACTS OF THE FILM FOR PROMOTION
The entrant agrees that up to 30 seconds of their film may be used by Irish Film Berlin in promotional activities including screening a clip on television and on the Festival’s website. Acceptance of these regulations implies that you will abide by them in your dealings with the Festival and also that you are legally entitled to submit this film for consideration.
SELECTION & NOTIFICATION
All selected filmmakers are invited to Irish Film Berlin as guests of the Festival and are responsible for their own travel and accommodation. All selected filmmakers will receive admission to all screenings and networking events. All entries will be viewed by the Festival's staff and volunteers. Official Festival selection will be announced in April 2024. Successful entrants will be notified via FilmFreeway. Details of selected films will also be posted on our website. The Festival does not pay fees for submitted work. Finalists will have their films screened during the Festival.
