For more than a decade R P Amudhan, activist-filmmaker and curator of the International Social Justice Film Festival, along with his colleagues In Chennai, India, have been screening an impressive group of films that highlight the struggles of people from around the world.
The festival’s sole focus on social justice provides a unique opportunity for filmmakers and audiences who, although thousands of miles apart, are united in their commitment to an international movement for social change.
I'm honored that my films, PROFILED (2022) and Afghan Women: A History of Struggle have been shown by the festival.
