International Panoramic Film Festival of India (IPFFI) is an annual event powered by 35MIL : India’s one and only creative organisation encompassing film festival events with music and photography competitions, webinars, workshops, thus thriving to provide a platform for ever-augmenting collaboration of artists across the areas of audio-visual media. After successfully completing the first edition, we are entering into this second edition of IPFFI as an International 'online festival' followed by an award event. It's purpose is to recognise outstanding films and documentaries from all over the world, and support every passionate filmmakers thereby enhancing awareness and understanding of visual story telling as an art among diverse audience.

The festival’s aim is to provide a platform for every filmmakers who has a vision and an important story to tell. We aspire to promote, recognise and support filmmakers in every field throughout the world, by ensuring that films from both emerging and established areas are considered for nominations. We believe as an ambitious film festival, we will give filmmakers a chance to showcase their work to a very elite film loving audience and a judging panel from the diverse fields of film making. We guarantee that only the best films & filmmakers after a comprehensive evaluation would be awarded, based on the story-telling ability, montage, technicalities and acting performances.

Why IPFFI?

We believe Awards and recognitions are not just honours which will feature prominently in a person’s obituary. Rather, it shapes an emerging artist by giving more responsibility on their shoulders as a film maker. By hosting a diverse range of awards in the key departments of audio-visual media, we provide the best opportunities for emerging filmmakers, documentary makers, animators, musicians and photographers to receive such recognition. Also, IPFFI has no barriers in submitting films and documentaries. The festival will showcase the worldwide submission of Fiction, Drama, Animation, Experimental, Horror, Human Rights, Indigenous, LGBTQ, Religious, Sci-Fi, Women, Underground, Comedy, Asian, African, Adventure or any genres in the art of visual story telling.

We are looking for stories that capture the imagination, talent, and diversity of filmmakers, which will leave audiences in awe.

KEY FEATURES :

▪ To all the winners of different categories, we would provide award certificate (digital format - ready to print) along with IPFFI ‘Winner’ laurel (with category details).
▪ To all the finalist films, we would provide finalist certificate (digital format - ready to print) along with the ‘Finalist’ laurel.
▪ To all the nominated films, we would provide official selection certificate along with the ‘Official Selection’ laurel.
▪ We would list all the winning films, finalist films and the nominated films along with the posters in our website and social media pages.

To submit a film, you must have created the project yourself, own the rights (or) have permission from the owner of the content to submit the film to us. International Panoramic Film Festival of India would not be responsible for any such IPR issues.
Please read all the rules and requirements before submitting your project:

1) Films may not have been completed and/or publicly screened prior to January 1, 2020.
2) Submissions should be done in accordance to the runtime mentioned in the categories. If not done so, the films wouldn't be considered in the competition.
3) We accept films from all parts of the world with any speaking languages. Provided, all the films must either be in English (or) with English subtitles, as the jury members speak different dialect.
4) All fees are non-refundable.
5) Student filmmakers are encouraged to apply but must enter which film school they’re currently pursuing (or) from which film school they got persuaded. Also, Student/Diploma films cannot be considered as Director's First film.
6) IPFFI is not responsible for corrupted or non-functioning films.
7) We do not accept amateur videos, extremist or propaganda content from religious or political organisations, films involving politics/films promoting political agenda, pornography, video resolution less than 720p.
8) Once your film is selected as a finalist, we would ask a HQ downloadable online screener, with/without password (or) ask you to send a Blu-ray disc (preferred method) of your film with necessary markings for the festival screening purpose.
9) We don’t accept scripts. The Best Story category is based on the story of the film.
10) International Panoramic Film Festival of India is a competitive event and all films selected in any category will be notified via email. If not notified or shown selected in FilmFreeway, your film would not be eligible to participate.
11) All films are nominated and voted upon by a jury of film professionals, from an independent point of view and is not questionable.
12) IPFFI reserve the right to refuse to accept any submission deemed by the Festival to be inappropriate. Should you wish to question IPFFI about their decision, you can contact us by email on info.35mil@gmail.com
13) All genres are considered eligible for nomination into one or more competitive categories.
14) We place no restrictions on your work in terms of premiere status or whether your work has been made available online.
15) The ‘Honourable Jury Mention’ awards for both narrative feature film and narrative short film are additional award categories presented by the IPFFI with no specific entry fee.
16) By submitting your film, take note that IPFFI is hereby granted the rights to utilise an excerpt (trailer/teaser/poster/stills) from any film submitted for promotional purposes.
17) By submitting movie to IPFFI, filmmaker/producer takes the whole responsibility of copyright issues of music, script and other creative and technical aspects of film.
18) One entry fee per category. The same film can be entered into one or more categories, but each category requires an entry fee.
19) For the Documentary category, the film could be of any genre.
20) We retain the right to change the date and venue of the festival under any unforeseen circumstances. All filmmakers will be informed about any changes through our online platforms.
21) The music video could be of any length.
22) By submitting your film for consideration to IPFFI, you agree to screen your feature film, short film & music video at the venue, if it is a finalist of the festival and therefore, are obligated to your commitment. (NOTE: Only selected finalist feature films & short films would be screened at the festival in front of the live audience. It’s purely based on the number of entries, duration & screening quality of the films and time convenience at the venue)
23) Since the COVID-19 pandemic is taking us through such uncertain times, the award event on February 12, 2023 is subject to circumstances.
24) By submitting to IPFFI, you agree to all our terms and conditions.
