The International Choreographic Festival of Blois will take place in Blois, France, from June 29th to July 8th.
The Festival aims to bring the art of dance to the Loire Valley Region in France and to democratize this art form by offering performances, dance short-film screenings, master classes, performance workshops and community outreach events.
There will be 2 film screenings of about an hour each in movie theatre right in the center of the city of Blois.
It is a unique festival that aims to feature choreography for the camera, dance documentaries and any short-film that emphasizes movement.
We encourage every dance and/or movement related short-film to apply.
Film makers will have a chance to receive the following awards :
- Audience Choice Award
- Jury Award
All selected short-films will have the opportunity to get more screenings after this festival and film directors will receive a digital version of the program if needed.
In the case film-makers and/or their team can attend the festival, they will have a Q&A opportunity and a discussion with the audience after the screenings.
