Indie Night is a weekly showcase that features between 4-6 short films, web series, trailers or episodes on the big screen at the famous TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood and this summer we will launch Indie Night Atlanta at the Plaza Theater hosted by Actor/Producer, Morris Chestnut once a month! Film submissions and invitations to screen will ne announced monthly.
If you are unable to travel to Los Angeles, you may be selected to screen with Indie Night in Atlanta.
History of Indie Night Film Festival
The founder of Indie Night, Dave Brown was fans of the monthly short film showcase by Doboy Dozens and had to produce a similar showcase do fill in the void left by the absence of the show. INDIE NIGHT officially opened at the elegant Xen Lounge, owned by an independent supporter. The film & media showcase took place under the stars in Studio City on the patio of the venue. Often described as a new dinner theater experience; attendees ranged from actors, directors, producers, writers, composers, casting directors, and film school students.

Award prizes will be offered to the top 3 films at the end of the season in December.
The Top 12 films of the season are acknowledged and screen again on our virtual online theaters at www.indienightondemand.com for a period of 6 months for added exposure and enjoyment to a wider audience into the new season.
Films screened in Atlanta and other major cities while we are on the road will be considered to screen again in Los Angeles at the TCL Chinese Theater.

The Festival accepts films year- round and screens weekly at the TCL Chinese Theater in Los Angeles, CA and beginning June 11th at the Plaza theater in Atlanta, GA.

POLICY & PROMOTIONS
Indie Night Film Festival is a unique experience for filmmakers. You are encouraged to use this platform as a formal opportunity to invite potential industry partners, agents, and supports to view your work. A refundable deposit is required to encourage filmmakers of short films to invite 30 or more guests to see specifically their film. Full Features are required to bring 75 or more attendees.

Live Monologues - Maximum run time: 5 minutes
Short films, Web Series, Music Videos, Pilots, Trailers/Promos, Documentaries - Maximum run time: 25 min
Feature Films - Maximum run time: 90 minutes
Filmmakers must submit their films on FilmFreeway. If FilmFreeway is down, you may email email@example.com your film.
We will need a Movie Poster size & file type
8.5x11 inches or
2550 X 3300 pixels
The posters and promotional materials will be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org with a copy to email@example.com.
TERMS and CONDITIONS
Submitting your film to the Indie Night Film Festival in no way implies any ownership rights by Indie Night to the submitted film. You own your project. If you are approached by anyone to produce your film as a result of being listed on our website or being screened at Indie Night, we ask that you share your good news with us and we’ll publicly support and announce it on our social media platform. Indie Night is also in the business of approaching filmmakers to distribute them to film houses.
You can submit your film online. Only one film per application. If entering more than one film or multiple episodes of a webseries, you must submit each separately. If you desire to submit multiple web series episodes as one submission, please edit all episodes together as one continuous story, without beginning and end credits between each episode.
