Indie Night is a weekly showcase that features between 4-6 short films, web series, trailers or episodes on the big screen at the famous TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. THERE IS NO DEADLINE. SUBMISSIONS ARE OPEN YEAR ROUND and this summer we have plans to take Indie Night on the Road to NYC, DC, DALLAS, and MIAMI hosted by Actor/Producer Morris Chestnut while screening weekly in Los Angeles. Film submissions and invitations to screen will be announced monthly.
If you are unable to travel to Los Angeles, you may be selected to screen with Indie Night on the Road.
History of Indie Night Film Festival
The founder of Indie Night, Dave Brown was fans of the monthly short film showcase by Doboy Dozens and had to produce a similar showcase do fill in the void left by the absence of the show. INDIE NIGHT officially opened at the elegant Xen Lounge, owned by an independent supporter. The film & media showcase took place under the stars in Studio City on the patio of the venue. Often described as a new dinner theater experience; attendees ranged from actors, directors, producers, writers, composers, casting directors, and film school students.
