Heading into our third year, it's TIFFF! Don't forget that third "F" because this ain't your telecom-bankrolled celeb-heavy juggernaut. We're lean, we're mean, and we're funny AFFF.

It's the Toronto Indie Funny Film Festival - a place for short and feature films from around the world that put the "F" in "funny". Comedy has it's own Emmy but it doesn't have it's own Oscar. It barely has it's own film festivals! It's time to change that.

This festival is slated to take place in Toronto from April 21st to 23rd, 2027.

Rules & Terms

You must own the rights to the work submitted.

All non-English films must have English Subtitles.

No films made up entirely of generative AI will be considered.

    I was honoured to have had my short screened at this hilarious festival. Communication was great through the whole process, with clear needs and deadlines communicated by the team. I attended a full night of the festival, where I got to watch a handful of unique films I wouldn’t have seen otherwise, and met other filmmakers that I look forward to collaborating with on future projects.
    The venue was good. Accessible, and just a short walk from a major subway station. Films screened in the back of an indie video store, and the whole experience had a homegrown, grassroots vibe. I can’t wait for next year!
