Our 2023 event will be taking place online over several days.

Its founders are veterans of the indie film industry who a decade ago co-founded several film festivals. The Awards Jury is made up of Award Winning Indie filmmakers and approved Indie Film Critics - and as such are extremely passionate about indie filmmaking.

We truly understand your drive, your vision and the often seemingly insurmountable challenges that you face bringing your ideas to life- and in front of a highly appreciative audience.

Submit your film to us today for a chance to gain true recognition and be a celebrated winner at our next award show.

The Indie Filmmaker Awards awards prizes for best indie films in various categories.

  • I am so thrilled for my screenplay: “Straw on the Camel”, to have won the Best Short Film Screenplay award at the Indie Filmmaker Awards! This recognition is a true honor, and I am so grateful to the organizers of the awards for providing such a fantastic platform for indie filmmakers to showcase their work.
The Indie Filmmaker Awards are always such a highlight for me, and this year was no exception. The level of talent on display was truly impressive, and I was so inspired by the creativity and passion of my fellow filmmakers.
The communication from the Indie Filmmaker Awards was top-tier. I am already looking forward to next year's Indie Filmmaker Awards and the opportunity to connect with more talented filmmakers and screenwriters. Thank you again for this amazing honor!
