Okanagan IndieFest - The sunny Okanagan's premiere, red-carpet, short film, short doc, music video, and animation festival!
Taking place in the sunny paradise of Kelowna, BC, Canada; The Okanagan IndieFest is an international film festival dedicated to celebrating the artists participating while promoting the art of independent storytelling itself.
We are looking for all filmmakers with short films, short docs, music videos, and short animations to submit their films in this year's festival.
In our first expanded year of multiple screenings, we will be holding different screening blocks throughout the day:
- Local Filmmaker's Gala - Celebrating the Best Shorts, Docs, Music Videos, & Animation from the Okanagan Valley.
- Canada & International Short Films
- Canada & International Documentary, Lifestyle and Fashion

Films not in English language must have English subtitles.
No premiere requirements, and films may already be available online.
All film selections will be notified, and will be required to provide a HD .MOV or .MP4 of the film.
Selected films will only be screened once on the event date.
Selected films wishing not to use their 'Official Premiere', can request to screen as a 'Preview', but will not be eligible for any awards.
Selected films won't be uploaded or shared online without the submitter's prior permission unless already released online and public.
Submitter grants us authorization to show elements, still images or film extracts, of the entered film for promotional purposes if required.
Submitter agrees they have read and understood all the terms and conditions, rules and guidelines before submitting a project.
