Weatherhouse Institute has created the first Indiana Youth Film Festival, a state-wide film festival ONLY for the young filmmakers in Indiana! We've created a space for the young filmmakers to watch their hard work on a big screen, network, and have fun!

Rules & Terms

The film’s director(s) must have been between 12-24 years of age at the time of production.
Must be an Indiana resident (or non local college student enrolled in a 4 year program at an Indiana college)
Films completed no earlier than January 2023
All music and other copyrighted material used in the film must be properly licensed and attributed. This includes Student Music Videos.
All films must be in English or subtitled in English.
All films 40 minutes and under

    Greatly enjoyed this festival! Very professionally done, with great staff and workshops. Great experience for my student's first film festival. He was able to participate in a Q&A after his film showing, received a great filmmaker swag bag, and was interviewed on the red carpet! Well done! Can't wait to come back next year!
