We are truly honored that our film Words of Rage received two awards at IIFFB – Best Community Film and a Special Recognition Award for First-Time Filmmaker and for highlighting the subject of anger as a social and emotional issue.
The communication from the festival team was excellent, and their warm and professional approach made the entire experience smooth and rewarding. The festival not only recognizes great cinema but also encourages films with strong social messages, which makes the recognition even more meaningful for us.
We are grateful to the organizers, jury, and the entire IIFFB team for valuing our work and for creating such an inspiring platform for filmmakers. We look forward to submitting our future projects and attending again in person.
Highly recommended for filmmakers worldwide! 🎬✨

The selection in Boston was a great push for us. After a period of rejections, Boston was our film's first selection. Therefore, Boston gave us a great push morally. We attended the festival in person and although there were a few misunderstandings on the submission of the video file, everyone was very helpful in solving all the issues, which occurred and our film was successfully screened. We had traveled a long way and we were happy about how we were welcomed by the organizers. One drawback was, that due to a playback issue, our film's excerpts were not shown when the nomination for best actress was announced. Apart from that we participated in all surrounding events and through that we were able to make some lasting connections with other film makers. Altogether the experience in Boston was very motivating and gave us a great push. Nevertheless, we recommend the festival organizers to be a bit more careful about technical requirements. Taking better care of that will make the Indian International Film Festival of Boston an even better experience for film makers! We wish you all the best ahead and we are looking forward to attending the film festival again in future.
