Allahu Akbar 🙏 God is so good. This would be my 1st award win from Boston. I worked so hard on this film to the brink of exhaustion. Because of its historic, sensitive (and some might say) controversial subject matter. I knew that it would be hard to get the funding I needed. So I decided to forge ahead and fund and produce it myself.

As budding filmmakers, to have our work or passion project reviewed and acknowledged by distinguished and reputable accomplished judges, is truly an honor in itself. I was discouraged from my publicist to produce this film, so this win gave me the clarity and assurance to accept that I was spiritually led to produce the right project at the right time in our history. It also gave me the confidence to trust my instincts and keep following my creative vision. To push the limits of music, art and cinema to the next level of greatness.
I want to again thank you for this prestigious honor. I look forward to submitting more of my work in the future.

Honestly I want no awards, fame, fortune or recognition for my film at all 🎥. It was a very emotional and painful project to produce. As an actor to play a father who lost everything his home, wife and newborn child really broke me 💔 😥.

My only wish and hope is that my film will be a voice for the most vulnerable and voiceless children in Gaza, and also for children in the Congo, Sudan, Haiti and children all across our entire globe 🌎. suffering immensely from the inhumanity, financial greed and political interests of others. These children should be safeguarded and protected at all costs under humanitarian and international law. My 2nd hope is that my film will reconnect each and everyone of us, back to our HUMANITY .
India international film festival, I thank you for your Humanity 🙏 hukriyah ❤.
I proudly accept this award on behalf of the children of Gaza, who inspired my film ❤️ Yeah Mon 🇯🇲" - Richard Oliver Jr.
