In-Edit has been the most important festival dedicated exclusively to the exhibition of music documentaries for over 20 years. Every October, it brings together over 35,000 people in cinemas during the 11-day event in the city of Barcelona.

True to its name, In-Edit seeks the best in national and international music documentaries, embracing the most diverse, unpublished, and inspiring proposals, always based on quality criteria.

Since its inception, it has been present in various countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, Greece, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, and Argentina, hosting over 90 editions worldwide and reaching over 1M assistants.

But it’s not just a festival; it also produces documentaries through its production company, In-Edit Films.

We keep searching for great stories for the big screen. The deadline for submissions is June 1st. After this date, films may be submitted with waiver only.

We would like to remind you that submitting to the international call for entries of In-Edit Barcelona allows your documentary to be considered for selection by the other festivals in our international In-Edit network: until the end of the year, editions in Chile, Brazil and Colombia are still to be held.

For those of you submitting a Spanish-produced short film, it may interest you to know that In-Edit Barcelona is part of the qualifying festivals for the 2027 Goya Awards with our OFFICIAL NATIONAL.

After the festival, some films will be available online at CaixaForum+, the In-Edit online venue, for a limited period of time.
