1. The third edition of In-Corti Ravvicinati will take place in Naples the 6-9 Novembrer 2024.
2. The purpose of the competition is to promote and disseminate independent cinema, in particular in the form of short films, offering itself as a place of encounter and exchange of experience.
3. The competition is organised by Prometeo Film. The artistic direction is entrusted to the director and screenwriter Andrea Piretti.
4. The competition program includes the following prizes: Best Fiction Short Film, Best Documentary Short Film, Best Animation Short Film, Best International Short Film (any genre and style), Best Short Film from Campania, Best Script for Short Film (under 15 pages).
5. The Management and the Selection Committee shall make their choices on the basis of the artistic quality of each work.
6. BEST FICTION SHORT FILM. Short fiction films completed after 1th January 2022 or the first public screening of which took place after that date are eligible for selection. Short films must have a maximum duration of 30 minutes. Works broadcast over the Internet will be excluded.
7. BEST DOCUMENTARY SHORT FILM. Short documentary films completed after 1th January 2022 or the first public screening of which took place after that date are eligible for selection. Short films must have a maximum duration of 30 minutes. Works broadcast over the Internet will be excluded.
8. BEST ANIMATED SHORT FILM. Short films completed after 1th January 2022 or the first public screening of which took place after that date are eligible for selection. Short films must have a maximum duration of 30 minutes. Works broadcast over the Internet will be excluded.
9. BEST INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM. Short films of any genre completed after 1th January 2022 or the first public screening of which took place after that date are eligible for selection. Short films must have a maximum duration of 30 minutes. Works broadcast over the Internet will be excluded.
10. BEST SHORT FILM FROM CAMPANIA. Short films completed after 1th January 2022 or the first public screening of which took place after that date are eligible for selection. Short films must have a maximum duration of 30 minutes. "BEST SHORT FILM FROM CAMPANIA" means a film directed by a director with residence in Campania. Works distributed over the Internet will be excluded.
11. BEST SCRIPT (SHORT) Scripts non-produced for Short Movies (fiction or documentary). Under 15 pages.
12. PRIZES
A jury of industry experts will award the following prizes:
• Best Fiction Short Film (maximum duration 30 minutes)
• Best Documentary Short Film (maximum duration 30 minutes)
• Best Animated Short Film (maximum duration 30 minutes)
• Best International Short Film (maximum duration 30 minutes)
• Best Short Film from Campania (maximum duration 30 minutes)
• Best Script for Short Film (under 15 pages)
13. SUBMISSION.
a) The registration of films at the pre-selection involves a fee of 5€ for all categories: Best Short Fiction, Best Short Documentary, Best Animated Short and Best International Short, Best Short Film from Campania, Best Script for Short Film. Consult the registration form to see the fee according to the period of the year.
b) Each author can participate with a maximum of one project per category. The registration will take place on the FilmFreeway website or by filling in the online registration form on the Festival website.
c) The deadline for registration is set at 1th October 2024.
d) For pre-selection, short films must be sent in only one of the following ways:
- Submission on the FilmFreeway platform.
- Sending Online registration form indicating in the form the private link or password protected, viewable on the Internet (preferably Vimeo and downloadable). Each film must present subtitles in English. Foreign films must have subtitles in Italian or English.
e) Authors and/or Producers are liable for the content of their works and declare, with the registration to the Festival, that they have fulfilled all obligations towards third parties deriving from copyright.
14. IN THE CASE OF SELECTION - DOCUMENTATION REQUESTED AND DISPATCH OF COPIES.
In case of selection at the Festival the required documentation is as follows:
- The screening file must have a minimum resolution of 1920X 1080 (MP4 - H 264 - Full HD)
- Trailer;
- PDF with synopsis of the film in Italian and/or English;
- No. 3 images of the film in JPEG format 300 dpi; Each photo must be named with the title of the film and a progressive number (e.g. titlem_1.jpg; titlelofilm_2.jpg).
- No. 1 photo by the author.
15. The request to participate in the selection process implies acceptance of these Rules, which are also available in English. In the event of a problem of interpretation, the Rules of Procedure in the Italian language alone shall be considered valid in all respects.
16. The Court of Naples shall have jurisdiction in any dispute.
