Para esta 1ª edición de IMPACTE! Festival de Cinema i Drets Humans de Catalunya, buscamos películas que nos hagan reflexionar sobre las Consecuencias de la Covid-19 en los derechos humanos, no solo en lo que se refiere al derecho a la salud, sino a las repercusiones que la pandemia ha ejercido sobre otros derechos fundamentales como el derecho a la intimidad, a la libertad de expresión y manifestación, a la movilidad, el trabajo, la educación, la vivienda, etc.
Dada la proximidad de la pandemia, que dificulta la producción audiovisual, se aceptarán películas que, por analogía, puedan referirse a situaciones similares.
Además de esta línea central, se considerarán películas sobre otros temas relacionados con los derechos humanos.
REQUISITOS TÉCNICOS
Se aceptan películas de ficción de duración mínima de 75 minutos, y documentales a partir de los 50 minutos. Los cortometrajes, de cualquier género, se considerarán como complemento de la exhibición de los largometrajes.
Las películas deben ser posteriores al 01/01/2019, y no haber sido exhibidas en Cataluña comercialmente en salas de cine ni en televisión, ni estar disponibles online, ni en abierto ni en VOD o similar.
Las películas deben tener subtítulos en inglés y resolución mínima de proyección Full HD 1920x1080.
Las películas deben ser inscritas por quien detente legalmente sus derechos de propiedad. Además de los de exhibición, se cederán los derechos de duplicación de los archivos audiovisuales, para el suministro de las copias de proyección a las sedes del festival.
La inscripción de las películas se realiza a través de las plataformas online de festivales FilmFreeway de acuerdo a sus respectivos formularios y condiciones.
La inscripción a IMPACTE! Festival de Cinema i Drets Humans de Catalunya es gratuita.
Las películas seleccionadas cumplimentarán un acuerdo formal con IMPACTE! Festival de Cinema i Drets Humans de Catalunya sobre los detalles técnicos y legales apuntadas en estas bases, y otros.
La versión catalana o española de las películas seleccionadas pasarán a formar parte del archivo de IMPACTE! Festival de Cinema i Drets Humans de Catalunya de cara a su posible difusión posterior en ámbitos educativos, pedagógicos, de sensibilización y promoción de los derechos humanos, sin ánimo comercial.
Las personas que inscriban las películas autorizan que los datos facilitados en este proceso sean incorporados a la base de datos de IMPACTE! Festival de Cinema i Drets Humans de Catalunya. Esta información será tratada de forma confidencial y de conformidad con lo dispuesto en el Reglamento (UE) 2016/679 del Parlamento Europeo relativo a la protección de datos de carácter general. Los/las titulares de los datos de carácter personal podrán ejercer ante el responsable de tratamiento sus derechos de acceso, rectificación, cancelación, oposición, portabilidad y finalmente supresión y olvido de la información facilitada.

For this first edition of IMPACTE! Human Rights Film Festival of Catalonia, we are looking for films that make us reflect on the Consequences of Covid-19 on human rights, not only in regards to the right to health, but also to the repercussions that the pandemic has had on other fundamental rights such as the right to privacy, freedom of speech, right to protest, mobility, work, education, housing, etc.
Given the proximity of the pandemic, which severely hinders film production, films that, by analogy, may refer to similar situations will also be accepted.
In addition to this central theme, films on other human rights issues will also be considered.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Fiction feature films and documentaries with a minimum running time of 75 minutes and 50 minutes, respectively, will be accepted. Short films of any genre of up to 30 minutes will be considered as a complement to the screening of fiction feature films and documentaries.
Films must have been shot after 01/01/2019 and not have been commercially screened in Catalonia in movie theaters or in TV, nor be available online nor on VOD or similar.
Films must have English subtitles and a minimum resolution for screening of Full HD 1920x1080.
Films must be submitted by whoever legally holds their property rights. In addition to those of exhibition, rights to duplicate video files will be given up in order to supply screening copies to the festival venues.
Film submission will be done through the festival online platform FilmFreeway according to their respective forms and conditions.
Submission to IMPACTE! Human Rights Film Festival of Catalonia is free of charge.
The selected films will fill up a formal agreement with IMPACTE! Human Rights Film Festival of Catalonia on the technical and legal details indicated in these rules, and others.
The Catalan or Spanish version of the selected films will become part of the archive of IMPACTE! Human Rights Film Festival of Catalonia for its possible subsequent exhibition in educational, pedagogical, awareness-raising, and promotion of human rights special screenings without commercial purposes.
Whoever submits the films authorizes the data provided in the submission to be incorporated into the database of IMPACTE! Human Rights Film Festival of Catalonia. This information will be treated confidentially and in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament on the protection of general data. The owners of personal data may exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation, opposition, portability, and final deletion of the information provided to the person or entity responsible for the data processing.
