IMMAGI]NA Film Festival è un festival di experimental film e dance for camera giunto alla quarta edizione.
Il festival è organizzato e promosso da ArtGarage, centro coreografico di produzione delle arti performative contemporanee. Uno luogo unico in Campania (IT) che oltre a sostenere residenze e creazioni da sempre si dedica alla diffusione delle arti visive in ogni sua forma attraverso l'organizzazione di mostre, proiezioni, incontri, festival. Dopo anni di pausa, dovuti all'intensa attività produttiva per la danza, riparte, vestito di nuova forma, il festival solo per film sperimentali e video danza.
IMMAGI]NA FILM FESTIVAL si concentra sull'interazione tra la danza e le tecniche del cinema, esplorando le possibilità e i confini di queste forme d'arte.

Ad IMMAGI]NA FF intendiamo presentare opere filmiche di grande impatto e originalità, in grado di valorizzare i talenti di regist* e videomaker sperimentali provenienti da ogni angolo del mondo.
Sono previste due categorie: Experimental Film (opere dai 5 ai 50 minuti) e Dance for camera (suddivisa a sua volta in due sottocategorie: Cortometraggi e Documentary).

IMMAGI]NA Film Festival is a festival of experimental film and dance for camera now in its fourth edition.
The festival is organized and promoted by ArtGarage, a choreographic center of production of contemporary performing arts. A unique place in Campania (IT) that in addition to supporting residencies and creations has always been dedicated to the dissemination of visual arts in all its forms through the organization of exhibitions, screenings, meetings, festivals. After years of pause, due to the intense production activity for dance, it starts again, dressed in a new form, the festival only for experimental film and video dance.
IMMAGI]NA FILM FESTIVAL focuses on the interaction between dance and film techniques, exploring the possibilities and boundaries of these art forms.

At IMMAGI]NA FF we aim to present film works of great impact and originality, capable of highlighting the talents of experimental filmmakers and video makers from all corners of the world.
There will be two categories: Experimental Film (works from 5 to 50 minutes) and Dance for camera (divided into two subcategories: Short Films and Documentary).

Rules & Terms

Le opere proposte dovranno:
- essere opere/progetti prodotti dal 2022 in poi;
- non superare le durata previste dalle relative categorie;
- essere protetti da copyright dell'artista;
- Full HD quality (1920 × 1080);
- rientrare in una delle categorie proposte;
- qualora necessario inserire i sottotitoli inglese.

Proposed works must:
- be works/projects produced from 2022 onwards;
- not exceed the lengths specified in the relevant categories;
- be copyrighted by the artist;
- Full HD quality (1920 × 1080);
- fall into one of the categories;
- if necessary, include English subtitles.

    Thank you for including Witches Cradle in your festival. The Immagina Film Festival was impressively well-organized, with clear and timely communication throughout the entire process. Although I wasn’t able to attend, I could tell from the updates and attention to detail that the team put in tremendous effort to make the festival a seamless experience for filmmakers. My only suggestion would be to incorporate a Zoom meet-up for international directors to connect and exchange ideas. This would be a wonderful opportunity for us to learn from each other and build a stronger creative community, even if we can’t all be there in person. Thank you.

    I am not sure, it even exists or ever happened. when visiting the website or social media page it's going to a company where there's no info about any festival to be found. prior to the festival I thought, okay, that company is hosting, there will be information later. there's not. no communication. nothing online. (I didn't find anything). happy to receive a link, in case, this festival has actually happened.

    ImmagiNaFF has existed since before social media and then was revived during the pandemic through a huge production of video and dance content.
    The festival is organized by an Italian dance company, which then as an additional COLLATERAL ACTIVITY organizes this festival completely independently.
    There is no festival website: this is a precise choice since we prefer in fact to invest in renting theaters to screen in Naples or Pozzuoli worthy films and give them visibility with industry operators instead of creating yet another site that launches content on the web by not curating it.
    Filmfreeway is the platform that hosts many festivals including ours and we curate our pages to the best of our ability.
