Now in its 23rd year, the IFI Documentary Festival is the longest established and most renowned dedicated documentary festival in the country. We have hosted premieres of Irish works such as In the Shadow of Beirut, Lost Boys, Henry Glassie: Field Work, and Love Yourself Today and international hits such as Smoke Sauna Sisterhood, Your Fat Friend, Minding the Gap, and The Imposter.

This year we are delighted to welcome the GALPAL Collective to programme the festival’s short documentary programme with 'Blossoming : Tales of Growing Up'. Selected films will focus on capturing the essence of growing up. Utilising culture, youth and coming of age as a thematic framework will explore the universal notion of growing up and will unravel the many diverse experiences faced by individuals around the world.

The IFI acknowledges the financial support of the Arts Council.
