  • I believe that they really did well with making me feel important with the compassion they had with me not being able to attend. They adjusted to my needs and I really appreicate that.

Although I was not able to attend in person, communication and follow through, from film acceptance to completion of festival itself, was great, especially for a first year festival - and all this through adjustment for the pandemic. When you submit to new festivals (and actually some that have been around for a few years), you appreciate that when you don't receive it. I was honored to receive two awards for my films - actual, really nice trophies which were sent to me in my absence. If you're looking for a festival that does a little bit more for the filmmaker, I would highly suggest submitting. It's the small things that count, and you notice and appreciate that, after all the hard effort put into your work.

Beyond grateful to have been apart of this film festival. From the moment we stepped off the plane and arrived at the hotel/venue, we were greeted and taken care of. When I say taken care of, I truly mean the red carpet special from the first day until the day we left.

The event was amazing and well planned and in between the viewings and panels there was always something to do. We met a lot of amazing and talented people and can't wait to return next year if we are accepted.

We thank everyone involved and look forward to many more in the future. Special shout out to Ms. Vicki McGill, thank you for everything. Please keep this festival going. WE NEED IT. God bless you all.
