Use your creativity. Inspire climate action.

Our Creative Climate Awards celebrate artists and culture creators who engage, educate, and incite action with their creativity. This is an open call for film entries that connect health and climate action, the selected features will be selected for a month long film exhibit in NYC September through October.

This year’s Creative Climate Awards are focused on the intersection between health and climate change. Your film should inspire action, not just talk about the problem. We urge your submission to address the following prompt:

If someone was moving into your neighborhood and asked how your community is addressing climate change what would you tell them?

Each year, we have an open call for participants in a month long exhibit in NYC. If selected, you will be invited to participate in special events, have your work seen by our judges, and compete for $2000 in prize money.

Submissions Due 11:30PM EST August 9th, 2021

We will evaluate three main components of each submission:
Strength of messaging and connection to climate change;
Artistic merit and impact; and Feasibility of project (in terms of permitting requirements, materials, etc.).

All applications must be received by August 9th at 11:30pm EST to be considered for the current calendar year.
