The Houston Palestine Film Festival brings an honest and independent view of Palestine and its diaspora’s society, culture, and political travails through the art of film. HPFF is a non-political, non-religious, 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that seeks to expose the near 6 million diverse inhabitants of the greater Houston area to Palestinian culture and identity through film. We are currently accepting submissions of short narrative or documentary films for our 16th annual film festival.

Submissions must be of short narrative or documentary films from or about Palestine and the Palestinian diaspora.

Thank you, Houston Palestine Film Festival. I am delighted that my first film, "Last May in Palestine", was screened at your festival and that many people attended the events.

I would also mention that the festival website is beautiful and very professional. Although I didn't see all the films, the three I viewed were excellent. This is a gracious welcoming festival with a hard working, collegial and diverse team, which created a worthy event and has clearly developed a following inside the Houston community. This festival already has a good track record and will continue building that legacy into the future.
