Foundry Theater presents the second installment of: Horror Shorts!

We're celebrating all things horror this October 29th with a short film festival! Send in your horror short films for a chance to be screened!

Awards & Prizes

Everyone chosen to screen at the festival will receive laurels and a discount code to submit their film to the Appalachian Film Festival in 2025!

We'll be picking a few films to be crowned:
-Best In Fest
-Best Sound Design
-Best Monster
-Best Cinematography

Award winners will receive laurels, an Appalachian Film Festival T-Shirt, and a code to submit to the Appalachian Film Festival 2025 for FREE!

Rules & Terms

Accepted films should be horror or horror-related genre. Looking for short films, preferably under 30 minutes, trailers for feature length films are welcome! Please label films with ratings or notify us of excessive gore or strong language.

    Horror Shorts Film Fest was a nice festival with good communication throughout. Our film, "Lizzie" won one of the top four awards and we were very grateful to have our film screened at this festival.
